What to include#
The more of this you can send in your first message, the fewer questions we need to ask.
| Send | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Your install id | At the top of Admin, and on the lock screen if Eido Build is locked. |
| The version you are running | Admin → Updates. |
| The work item’s key, if it is about one | For example PULSE-142. |
| What you did, and what you expected | |
| What happened instead | The exact words of any message, and a screenshot if you can. |
| When it happened | With your time zone. |
What not to send#
Please do not send passwords, API keys or tokens. We will never ask for them. If one has been included by mistake in a screenshot, rotate it.
Before you write#
It is worth a look at Troubleshooting, which covers the questions we are asked most.
If Eido Build is locked because a trial has ended or a payment has failed, the lock screen has the quickest route: a link to subscribe on the Azure Marketplace, or to contact sales.
Something wrong with these pages?#
Every article has a link at the bottom to tell us that something is wrong or missing. We read them.
